INTERNSHIP - Communications and Fundraising Assistant (60%, 4 to 6 months)

Background and Mission

Casa Alianza Switzerland, founded in 1997 in Geneva, supports initiatives for vulnerable children in three Latin American countries: Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.

Our homes provide shelter for children between the ages of 12 and 18 from diverse backgrounds: survivors of life on the streets, migrant children displaced by violence, and teenage mothers with their babies. All are survivors of abandonment, human trafficking, and sexual or commercial exploitation.

On site, qualified staff (psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, lawyers, and teachers) ensure comprehensive care for the young people. The goal is to facilitate their physical and emotional recovery, followed by their healthy and sustainable reintegration into their families or society.

In Geneva, the association’s office consists of two staff members supported by a committee of five volunteers. The association’s goal is to provide substantial financial support to the three existing Casa Alianza centers in Latin America.
